These Terms and Conditions govern your use of LexPod Learn (“LexPod”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including our website, app, and related services. By using LexPod Learn, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Intended Users

LexPod Learn is intended for users aged 18 or over, including legal professionals, trainees, law students, and related legal support professionals.

3. Content Ownership

  • All educational materials created by LexPod Learn, including MCQs, learning pathways, curriculum maps, summaries, reflection prompts, and related platform content, are owned by or licensed to LexPod Learn.
  • All podcast audio remains the property of the original creators or other relevant rights holders.
  • LexPod Learn does not claim ownership of third-party podcast audio and does not modify that audio other than as technically necessary to enable lawful delivery through the platform.
  • Unless expressly stated otherwise, LexPod Learn does not provide transcripts of third-party podcast audio.
  • Our role is to provide educational commentary, structure, and learning resources around original podcast episodes.

4. Educational Disclaimer

The content on LexPod Learn is provided for educational purposes only. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for independent legal research, client-specific advice, supervision, applicable court rules, or professional judgment.

You should always consider the law, procedure, ethical duties, and regulatory requirements relevant to your jurisdiction and the facts of the matter you are dealing with.

5. Use Restrictions

You may not:

  • copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit LexPod Learn educational content without permission, except where permitted by law;
  • scrape, crawl, mirror, or otherwise harvest content or data from the website or app;
  • misrepresent your identity, role, qualifications, or entitlement to access the platform;
  • interfere with the security, operation, or integrity of the platform;
  • use the platform for any unlawful, infringing, or malicious purpose.

6. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to LexPod Learn if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, infringe intellectual property rights, or create legal, reputational, or security risk for us or others.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LexPod Learn is not liable for decisions, losses, claims, or outcomes arising from your use of the platform or your reliance on its educational content.

Use of the website and app is at your own discretion and risk. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or complete.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or your use of LexPod Learn will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

App Store Terms

Where you access LexPod Learn through an Apple-distributed app, Apple’s Standard EULA will also apply where relevant.

By using the app, you agree that:

  • you are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use LexPod Learn on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and any applicable app store terms;
  • you will not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the app except where permitted by law;
  • you will respect third-party intellectual property and content rights;
  • you understand that third-party podcast audio is sourced from public or otherwise authorised feeds and remains the property of its original creators.

CPD and Continuing Competence

LexPod Learn supports structured, podcast-based legal learning and reflective development.

  • Activities completed on the platform may help support your CPD or continuing competence records, depending on the rules of your regulator, employer, insurer, membership body, or organisation.
  • You are responsible for deciding whether a learning activity is claimable, recordable, or relevant for your own professional requirements.
  • You are responsible for keeping any notes, reflections, or evidence required for your own records, appraisal, or compliance.
  • Unless expressly stated, LexPod Learn does not guarantee that any activity will be recognised for formal credit or accreditation.
